For Christmas I ordered four books from the REading Greek series (Joint Association of Classical Teachers' Greek Course) and the Speaking Greek CD. My fist challenge is to learn the Greek alphabet which is proving  to be quite the challenge. Here are the 24 letters (from Wikipedia)

 Α α, Β β, Γ γ, Δ δ, Ε ε, Ζ ζ, Η η, Θ θ, Ι ι, Κ κ, Λ λ, Μ μ, Ν ν, Ξ ξ, Ο ο, Π π, Ρ ρ, Σ σ/ς, Τ τ, Υ υ, Φ φ, Χ χ, Ψ ψ, and Ω ω. 

I'll post more next week on the pronunciation of the letters.
